Defender has been away to be rust proofed & have silent coat fitted

Great job from boys at ultimate car paint protection at Leamington Spa

Really good job at a fair price.

Also did delivery & collection service which worked well for me Thumbs Up

ps I'm not connected in anyway with them, they just did a good job 2020 P300 HSE

I rather like that. What's the coating?

How about a shot of the whole vehicle?

Mrs Doublea's side protection is languishing in the garage (on account of the temporary fit side runners) waiting for a more integrated step solution. At least they're not rotting away, if do go back on I think I'll powdercoat the sub structure and clear lacquer the aluminium. Current Steeds:

Will post some better pictures at the weekend, when we are away with the caravan

I simply had them powder coated black.

For those that asked the aluminium covers are bolted on to a frame so very easy to remove - took no more than probably 5 minutes to refit a side.

I may change the fixing to stainless steel to finish the look Thumbs Up 2020 P300 HSE

Shocked how can you forget to take photos of your new baby! I honestly have as many photos of my Landy on my phone as I do of my kids! Confused James

Its a Mobile Storage Systems high level shelf.

Yes very easy to fit - if you go to MSS website you can download the installation instructions.

I'll be honest though I'm not sure if it is worth doing - nothing to do with the quality & the build which is excellent .

The distance to the roof from the shelf is not great 9 / 10 cm, so we use it for coats etc to keep them away from the dog hair.

Downside is we have now lost the light in the back which come the winter will become a pain in the butt, as original is covered by the shelf which does have holes in it, but if used - the whole point of the shelf - then light is covered - I have turned it off.

I could fit a light to the shelf, which I might end up doing.

Regards
