Low range light

i know the early ones had them wired up (bottom of rev counter D3 style)

So has anyone wired up a later one so it comes on?

Dont know why i need it you tell its in low - just something to do i suppose and i know the light is there so it may as well work!

Well i suppose logically its either got to be:
A switch on the High Low selector or a sensor that detects the transfer box setting.

Razz Wink

Do we need another light?

The Defender has a little stick and the D3 has none.

so...

I reckon I know when I am in low range without a light due to only getting to 2 km/h in first gear at 4000 rpm Wink so I don't need a low range light but the CDL light is more important because it tells me that damage might ensue regardless of being in low or high range.

Try it in really, really soft sand. I went to take off in low third and got low one Rolling Eyes Oh boy can low range dig you a BIG hole Shocked

Definitely don't need a light for low range. But I might need one for the gear selection Rolling Eyes
