Peter Vardy rolls out heritage division

"Scottish motor trader Peter Vardy is tapping into the booming market for automotive investments with the launch of a “heritage” dealership.

The Glasgow-headquartered firm, which runs a portfolio of sites from Aberdeen to Glasgow, and also operates the largest Jaguar Land Rover facility in the UK, is looking to position itself as “one of the newest and most innovative prestige and classic car retailers”.

Its new dealership, located in County Durham, promises a “stunning portfolio” of more than 20 motors, ranging from some £10,000 to £250,000.

Classic car specialist Paul Cummings, who has worked for Sir Peter Vardy for 16 years as a dealer principal in the firm’s Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Maserati and Jaguar franchises, will head up the heritage team.
