Early TD5 ?

Hi, I have owned my defender for nearly 14 years and has gone from a immaculate station wagon to a full blown challenge truck with rollcage, three winches etc back to a road car, but only just realised I must have one of the first TD5's as it was registered on the 5/11/1998.
Has anybody got an early one?

That is early. My 110 was registered May '99.

12/02/1999 Here! I'm only the second owner as well, having acquired it 3 months ago.

It's on an 'S' plate, and interestingly i know a guy with a 'V' plated 90 with a 300tdi.

Mine is an 'S' plate and it's a Jan 99 model 1999 Defender TD5 110

Mines on a T plate but with a date of registration of 2009,

Note 3 on the V5 just says Was reregistered/used overseas Declared manufactured 1999

So who knows. The SA police service vehicle clearance cert doesn't state the reg date. 3 Landrovers
