2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 CSW Manual Zambezi Silver

Hi There, I'm an avid Land Rover fan / computer programmer type person. Ive owned 14 Land Rovers so far at the mere age of 32 of which were mostly Series 3, Iv'e had a couple of 2A's and a 300TDi Defender. I'm just down to my new 07 CSW now and a lovely 1959 Series 2 which is in real good condition for it's age. Sometimes they can be a right pain and you can't live without them, yes I am still talking about Land Rover's.

All the best Rich

England 2005 Defender 90 Td5 XS CSW Manual Bonatti Grey

I drove my first Landrover (yeah, that's how it was written in those days) almost 50 years ago.
Since then my life has been totally changed - for good or worse I don't know.
The main thing I've learned over those years is-
If a non Landie owner criticises a Land Rover, you hit him!
If a Landie owner criticises a Land Rover, you comfort him!

Hello, just joined and wanted to introduce myself on here. I have joined as there seems quite a few 07 Puma owners here and by the looks of things a few have had many of the problems that I have had with mine over the last 15 months. I have owned and driven land rovers all my life and love the brand but I am afraid this Puma has been a real let down and proved very unreliable (though strangly enough I still love it)! I am in negotiation with land rover at the moment as to where we go from here but I do not hold out too much hope. Still not all bad as I have done two trips in it since taking delivery, one to southern Spain (Tabernas desert) and in July one to the Alps. Anyway Hi to everyone.

Boy

Hi all, I am in Hertfordshire and recently my hobby became my business. I have had Landys since I was 15. Been racing in them, and trialing. Was on the front cover of LRO in April 2002 in my 2a 109. Took Journalists around herts for a green lane trip for LRO. I have loads of cheap sereis spare i want to clear from my shed.

My current personal vehicles are a 1963 series 2a 88", a 1965 Series 2a 109" one tonne, a 1987 V8 110 CSW with an RPI V8, & a Discovery 1 3.9 V8 ES LPG.

Last year i sold my Defender double cab. Any one wanting green lane maps of Herts of the South east contact me.

I specialize in Export, I sell all types of 110 & Defender from 25 yr old classic 110's to the latest Puma engined Defenders.

Guernsey 2008 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 CSW Manual Cairns Blue

Hello, greetings from the Channel Islands. As you can see I have number of LR's which keep me occupied. I am enjoying mt Tdci but I have niggling doubts about keeping it to long, reading some of the problems others are having just stops and makes you think. Time will tell.

United Kingdom 2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Manual Epsom Green

Hello!

Just found and joined this excellent forum and thought I'd say hello. Bought my first LR in 1980 - SIIa 88" with bar treads on 1950s split rims - if only I'd kept the wheels when I sold that one! Followed by a 1953 80" which I still have, sadly now awaiting rebuild. Also still have my old RR classic purchased in 1999 which I must sort out and either sell or keep - not sure yet, but it's on SORN and classic car insurance, so not really costing much to keep except for the space.

Back to LRs with a 2005 Defender 110xs Td5 in May - possibly ex LRE, as it had a lot of hidden faults, mostly comensurate with being a "2 careful owners, thousands of careless drivers" car. Decided to do what I should have done in May and replaced with 110xs Tdci at the beginning of October, which i got at a great price...(but not such a great PX price for the Td5 Shocked )...however, love the new 110, and puttng the miles on at an alarming rate Smile !!!

Wales 2008 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Manual Rimini Red

Hi!

I'm had Land Rovers for about 20 years, Series, Lightweight, 200tdi, Td5 and now a 90 2.4tdci Puma.

Main agents are, in my experience, wholly ignorant and inept when it comes to Defenders, they merely want to punt them out to farmers and concentrate on being engraciating creeps to Range Rover buyers. The utter rubbish some sales staff told me before I brought the Puma beggers belief, and this was from 4 -5 'main' agents.

At least Defender owners are in the main fully aware of Land Rover's attitude, build quality and agents, as they are of thier own addiction, that cannot be logicaly explained, even after councelling.

There's no logic to it, so I don't even try to explain it, I just enjoy it. And, even my wife does now.

Regards

Chay
