United Kingdom 2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS DCPU Manual Bonatti Grey
Busy day

Had a busy day friday.
Fed up with the front of the defender sagging i changed the front springs for Old Man Emu 751`s and the rear for Old Man Emu 755`s now she sits a lot more level Thumbs Up
Also fitted a QT rear diff guard as the QT i had on my 90 did`nt fit due to the 110 having the P38 type diff Big Cry
Also changed the headlights to the new Wipac clear lenses and fitted the latest 50W HID kit Very Happy Thet make such a differance Thumbs Up

Sounds like a busy day Sonic. Had a similar one playing in Thetford forest setting up Husky race used 110 to mark the course and pull the marker trailer, not at all hardcore but nice place to be. Drove a Navara on saturday on the same trails, shocking lack of engine breaking on slight downhills and made the 110 feel very smooth over the lumps and bumps. Nice to compare the two only one real winner but the narvara was faster until you hit a few bumps.

This was the previous generation, not mine but it was lent to me for the day as I was in my van and thats just too big to drive around the forest in places. The sheet of ali fits into the load space in the rear and will be attached to the ply shelve I made and willl act as a cooking/food prep area. When I get around to fitting it, spring sometime. At the moment all my time is taken up with training the dogs and looking after my son.

Great pics of you guys in Tunisa, looks good in the desert, very remote and no sign of civilisation!

We are hoping to go dog sledging in Svalbard after christmas and sled out to a boat frozen into the sea which acts as a base camp for us to explore the frozen fjords, again not much civilisation, just polar bears and the northern lights hopefully.

Where did you get the 50W HID kit Sonic? I have a 35W set in mine and one of the ballasts has just died, so would be interested in the 50W kit.

Cheers
