Hi all
http://www.severnvalleychallenge.co.uk are organising a drive around day at Walters Arena near Neath, South wales which isn't far from the M4, It is 2500 acres of free for all off roading which is pretty much unheard of in this country aside from MOD sites where even then you are still restricted. There is something for everyone from road going 4x4's to full blown challenge Ultra4 racers, cost of the day is £65 and there is a burger van on site more details are on the above website or their Facebook would be nice to get some Def2 members out and have a laugh at your leisure and go where you want? who's in? I am  :thumbs:
Full details below COST OF THE DAY COST OF THE DAY IS £65 NON MEMBERS £60 MEMEBERS EVENT TIME GATES WILL OPEN AT 8AM SITE OPEN 9AM gates close 5:30pm ALL VEHICLE WILL BE CHECKED FOR SAFTEY MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS BELOW :- MINIMUM REQUIREMNETS VEHICLE PREPERATION • Vehicle must be fitted with seatbelt or harnesses in good working condition • Seats must be adequate fastened and in good condition • Seatbelt/harness and seat fastening point must be in good condition and secure • Batteries and fuel tanks must be securely fixed • All vehicle must have at least two towing/recovery points at the front and rear of the vehicle of adequate strength for recovery • All winches and equipment must be fixed adequately and safe working condition • horn must be working for emergency • all vehicles must have at least 2 tow straps or tow ropes • all moving parts (steering etc must be in good working order and tight adn damage free ) • gloves must be used for winching • brakes must be sufficient SCRUINTENEERING AND SIGNING ON • All persons must sign on at event control • All drivers must produce a valid uk licence and or be accompanied by a licence holder • Vehicle must be clean at first scruitineering • All vehicle must undergo scruiteneering/safety check This event is permitted under the MSA. The event is run by wxt4x4! Permit is available to view! Site rules must be abide by at all times anyone found not to be doing so will be asked to leave site SITE RULES Site speed limit is 15mph All clean grass areas must be kept off at all times Any taped off or gated / fenced areas are out of bounds Blocked areas are also off bounds Seat belts must be worn at all times when vehicle is moving Gloves must be worn for winching Winching across roads a winch sail must be used Traffic uphill has priority No barging / colliding / knocking / banging or anything of that description No racing Only the drivers signed on may drive that vehicle? (each additional driver is £3) Only the vehicle signed in may enter site If you leave site you must sign out before leaving !!!!! Been up there for the last 2 weekends

Yeah TJ i wanted to go to DTTE and J33P events but alas i was spoken for so I'm making a effort to keep myself free for a day of boy toys fun

Its pricey yes but where else can you find a area this big? for me its worth it, I've been but as a spectator this will be my first time in my own vehicle 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold)
