The old (td5/tdi) long ones don't really fit the new Puma as the bonet is wider and can chip the paint work but I got round this by sticking some household sticky door seal foam under the lip of the bonnet. The new long top for the Puma is jsut a bit narower and a little shorter. |

As mentioned the older wing tops won't fit the Puma, though from what I was told most people are fitting them |

Wouldn't have helped me, I looked at that but my bonnet has a very small gap at the rear from about the aerial back. Heaps of room at the front and I could have wound the stops out a little to be safe. Unfortunately not a lot can be done at the hinge end. I've now looked at 2 other Puma's, one would have fitted no problems, the other was better than mine but still probably not a good fit. Like I said - tolerances on the bonnet closure seem to vary. |

If you buy the genuine LR one's the only difference is in the length and width of the plates. They are both 3mm thick. The Td5 and earlier are longer and have a hole for the aerial, the Puma ones are shorter and not as wide at the front end. |

Has anyone a picture where you can spot the difference? |

Didn't think of it when I fitted them, but I'll see what I can do with the camera and photoshop tomorrow (it's very dark here now |
