Satmap Active 10

Wondering if anyone has used one of these, they seem to get alot of good press. A GPS combined with OS mapping which all comes in a hand held portable unit. Sounds perfect for lots of outdoor activities.

No - but I've been wanting one since they came out - I agree they appear to be just the job for walking / mountain biking... OS to 1:25K, nice!
If they weren't so ££ I'd have treated myself by now...
Still, xmas is coming - although my want list is long and unlikely.
Wish the iPod Touch could combine features of Active 10!

That works very well.

I bought one a few weeks go, very good, but the maps are dear. The wife likes it, now I have no excuse not to go out for a walk on a Sunday! Thats me busted Embarassed Embarassed I bought it for playing in the 90.

I would like one but as stated the Maps are hideaously expensive ! Shocked

reckon i will stick to map & compass.
