just calculated my mpg (110 xs td5), with the ashcroft gear set (+14%), I'm getting between 30 and 33, best I have had is 35 but I have to drive like a girl. Laughing

All told the disco does 30/31 regardless 27 is ok with it all loaded its just the 2mpg drop after a service...which is wrong in my book!

I'm getting 9.7lt/100km (not sure what this is in mpg) after 17,000km from a 90 with 235/85 tyres.

I've kept a fairly close track since the first fill in early October - average so far just below 28mpg without roof rack, mixed driving.

On one fill it wa down to 25mpg - mostly motorway miles at 70ish nto a headwind, which a little worse than my old TD5, which managed 27 on a similar run. But my old RR classic was around 15, so even taking into account the extra cost of diesel in the UK (why is that??!!), I'm fairly happy!

Just got mine back from the dealers again. They had if for quite a while and during this time I asked them to use it to go home in for 3 or 4 days and then work out the fuel usage because they did not believe me when I told them what I was getting. I was told they got 23mpg, they said that was not what they expected and is using more than it should. So what are they going to do about it? NOTHING!!!!!

Hmmm.......

I've 178 so far since visiting the local Asda for fuel and guess what the fuel gauge is still showing full ! Whistle

I just might have added wee bit of home brew Whistle

any how I seem to recall I'm getting about 475 on a tank, not too bad for a 110 I guess (by the way I'm auditioning for the remake of 'Driving Miss Daisy'). Mr. Green

For most of its first 4500km (2800 miles) from new mine has towed a 1.5 tonne trailer and carried 500kg of gear in the 110. I'm currently on the first full tank to be used without towing so I'm interested to see what I get. Over the 4500km it averaged 13.6L/100km or 21mpg.

Also the 4500km breaks down to about 270km without the trailer (but around towns), 680km of remote dirt track with lots of dust and water crossings and the rest was highway driving.

To update my fuel figures...

Lots of soft sand mainly in low 3... 20L/100km or about 14mpg Big Cry

Must say the TC works very well when I needed it.

Surely thats good - 150 ish miles on half a tank means 300 miles full tank which is about 28/9mpg.
