Hi,

I'm about to take delivery of my Defender and I am now beginning to obsess about all the aftermarket bits that I can add to it. I suspect I could seriously erode my wealth if I don't control myself - probably not smart as the global economy heads into a credit crunch led meltdown. Oh well, I like the LRX Grille/Headlight look and I've seen them somehwere in Grey/Brunel over the last few months, but now I can only find silver and black ones.

Does anyone know of a good quality supplier of these and other 'bespoke' accessories? I've been to Simmonites, Famous Four and Twisted Performance, but no success finding the grey ones.

Also, has anyone seen these on UK streets yet? If so, how do they look? It's difficult to tell from photos whether this would be an improvement on the current look or a tacky/plasticky add-on.

I've only seen the black version. And it's not to my taste. It's different to say the least. If you haven't seen 1 in the flesh so to speak then it's a very expensive thing to buy and fit only to find that you don't like it

Not one I am willing to consider, that said and before I start a debate on it not being right for us all to be the same by all means do your thing.
there should be suppliers at the LRO show in sept with these on display.

I personally will be looking at the RECARO seats ! they look the part and should open up the Market a bit in aftermarket seating options.

If you know your own tastes then go with that!

I reckon to pull off the whole front end thing you will need crystal clear head lights aswell as side lights indicators and even the belly plate.

All the bits for the LRX except the stickers are avaliable just not the same quality!

I dont like the LRX myself - but love the decals on it.
