South Africa 2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Manual Alpine White
new gardening tool

I found a brillian second use for my winch yesterday.
Had a really nasty bush/creeper that just wouldn't die so I wrapped the winch cable through all the roots and stem left behind and yanked out half my grass but all the roots came out nicely and saved myself a lot of time and saved myself a strained back.

A handy gardening tip from Africa Smile

Also very good for removing palm tree's. Dig down then put a drag chain around the root ball and then winch it through.

Next attach tow strap around palm, drag to new location and replant Very Happy

Another use is for straining fence wire. Can get a tad dangerous if you get over enthusiastic Rolling Eyes

Australian gardening tip.
