The SatNav has a temper and a big f***ing gun and told the driver to go there. That or it had some juicy gossip on the driver's affair. Or maybe the driver was using an Ex Royal Marine version and forgot to change the settings from 'Beach Invasion' and 'Amphibious' to normal (although in theory he would have been stranded on a beach in Spain
 ). Otherwise, why else would you 'listen' to your SatNav and drive out to sea? Monsieur Le Grenadier

A Freelander driver?
Rather would expect that from an Eewok driver.  You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.
