Newbie needing basic info please about subwoofer
Hi all - Ive noticed I have a grey subwoofer plug as part of the loom on my farmer spec 90. Its positioned just below the cubby box. Can anyone throw light on the part number of the standard fit subwoofer which i think is part of the premium audio package. Car is on a 64 plate.
Appreciate anyone's help

Is it a Td5 defender?

If so its your OBD port not a sub port Russell

64 plate registrations were issued from 1st September 2014 so Garfyted's Defender I am guessing will be a TDCi and not a TD5.

The Sub-Woofer on mine is factory fitted and is an Alpine part number ALPINE SWE-1200

The plug if fitted should be under the cubby box, you might have to remove the cubby to find it. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Adam I think your 90 is too early to have been offered with the Alpine audio.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

excellent responses - thankyou
Great many thanks guys - for those who havent seen it - its a grey plug pinned to the top of the seatbox and was located under the cupholder/tray thing that I discarded before cubbybox install. I'll have a look at Duckworths - many thanks

When you spec a factory order sub, they change the cubby box to a slightly different shorter one so the sub doesn't protrude into the back too far. Just thought its worth a mention!

Yep, same for me on a June 2014 XS 90.
I've fitted the Alpine active sub listed above but had to wire in and run the cables to the cubby.
