Cheaper here: http://www.roadradio.com/Alpine/SWE-1200/

I have also emailed Dan to ask about the subwoofers they were offering at Billing.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Quite, the aftermarket SWE-1200 is not exactly the same as the factory fitted LR040866 unit.

It is, however, a third of the price...

I await what (if anything) Dan has got Smile  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Agreed, but it won't be plug and play as the OP is after I believe.

OK well I only added my link as it is cheaper than the eBay offering posted. As it's a thread in Dan's section it should really be left for Dan to answer.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

I wasn't arguing, and your link is definitely better value for money Thumbs Up , I just didn't want the OP to rush off and buy one with the expectation of it fitting the plug under his cubby as his other post Bow down

Your standard LR speakers/fitting holes are basically small, so the BASS is always going to be poor, the SUB is to boost that frequency range. not really any need to get more technical than that.

Edit : And its more expensive than just a speaker because its an active(amplified) unit. 3 Landrovers
