spotted in Edinburgh this evening,
A nice green 110sw with expedition tent on the roof
On Ravelston Dykes Road at around 20:10
Last 3 letters of registration : VAJ (that made me laugh)
Was sitting in an Ewok so didn't dare wave

I know the 'VAJ' 110 very well!
It is a defender you can hire from ( http://scotlandoverland.com/ ) Scotland Overland. They are based in Peebles, and Duncan who owns the company loves his Defenders!
We took this exact one away to the west coast for 8 days a few months ago, which was unreal!
The Hannibal roof tent worked really well, even with 4 adult men inside, and was fully kitted with a fridge and portable wood-fired stove/heater etc.
Really nice setup...
The only issue with it is that it is top heavy with all the gear on the roof, and it needs stiffer suspension etc as it rolls in the corners, which on the West coast is alot!
