How about a caravan storage place , or some sort of self storage place
know anyone with a spare bit of space on a farm etc ? |

As they say where there is a will there is a way, I will give that some thought I am sure I can find somewhere to keep it, the caravan storage places might be a good call.

Would love to have a trailer like this one for camping holidays, some gardening and collecting logs for the fireplace. Would look lovely behind my 130!  |

yes 3/4 tone . in perfect condition as well as the tub and ifor williams (hens teeth finding one that size)
im planning on getting a roof rack on it paint the body same as 90 and putt some spacers on and get bigger rubber on it . or sell it as its is and get a proper expedition trailer  |

I've used the roof top bags with success in the past.
Usually had our sleeping bags(in waterproof bags), mattress, oztent front room walls, chairs and a table. For your list look at loading the esky to the back. Put the table in front and sit the tent and poles on it so the poles can't slide out the back past the esky. No reason this can't be done with a tarp to help hold it together with a strap or two. I'd then strap the chairs over the top to hold things down and stop the tarp flapping. It's all guess work with out seeing your gear though. Buy the grog close to camp and get the passengers to nurse the precious cargo over the last little few miles  Cheers,

lay a large tarp over the rack, put all your stuff inside and then wrap it up like it were Christmas eve, then finish off with some rope / straps (side to side / back to front).
saw Ray Mears do it and seemed like a fine idea.

I concur about the ski box, I got a s/h Thule box on fleabag, it holds my oztent rv4, sides and ground sheets with room to spare, keeps it all dry and still leads 2/3 of the rack available. Mine is a 110 but there is no reason why it wouldn't fit on a 90.

Snowy 90 - I would have no issue with the weight you are proposing for the roof, I would be surprised if you got close to 100KG with that lot. I've driven thousands of miles with over 300kg on the roof!
Beer & liquids low down makes sense (1kg per litre, don't forget). I have a number of water resistant bags, like this https://www.alpkit.com/products/drydock-100 I shove everything into them and then run cargo straps over the lot, you can often route a strap through a handle to ensure it won't leave the roof. Other than that a tarp can help keep everything in place, but again I use loads of cargo straps to the floor rather than sides. I'm surprised to hear so many comments against using a roof rack, you are only going camping, not around the world. I think we all get the centre of gravity issues with extreme off roading but I have used heavy vehicles with equally heavily loaded roof racks in some of the hardest conditions with no issues as long as speed is kept low especially when the going gets tough.
