Then get down to Stratstone Land Rover in Newport Pagnell.

"Staff are set to welcome members of the public to the showroom from Saturday 4th to Saturday 11th July. It will be an opportunity to learn more about Land Rovers historic association with the conservation charity, which was founded by the stars of the classic film Born Free, actors Bill Travers MBE, Virginia McKenna OBE and their son Will Travers OBE."

What was the connection with the series 1? I remember a 109 2A (with a tilt) taking a starring role in the film, but no S1.

Was the S1 their actual vehicle, rather than their film vehicle?
