Spotted on Factory Shakedown in Wiltshire
JLR use a circuit which uses the A350 from the M4 down to the A303, across to the M5 and back up to the midlands It's always their engineering department testing pre-production vehicles, facelifts and the odd early production cars. So last month there were lots of Jaguar XF's and the new XE's. All the cars are laden with testing equipment.

Today I passed 5 Range Rovers and 2 Range Rover Sports with camo paint flecks over the top of the normal metallic paint colour.

Then something a bit close to all our hearts which did make me wonder why it was being tested. A 110 Defender Station Wagon, Silver, with a Black bonnet and 2 tone Black/Silver wheels, leaving the McDonalds in Chippenham. I've seen them testing cars on this circuit for the last 15 years and never in that time have I seen a Defender, which makes you wonder what was different about it. 2015 Audi Q3 Quattro S Line Plus 184 TDI Stronic

Yeah I wouldn't read too much into it.

Not unless they were testing a new power plant option for an outgoing special edition. Highly doubt it though.... Sad

I actually wouldn't have given it a 2nd thought if it had been on normal number plates, but the fact it was wearing the same style of plate as the RR's and RRS got me thinking. 2015 Audi Q3 Quattro S Line Plus 184 TDI Stronic

No I don't, they are also quite hard to explain what they look like. They are different to the trade plates we use in the dealership, they look a bit like a Belgian numberplate (but obviously aren't).

Yes BP they all come down the Fosse, then the A350, A303, M5, M42

The Jaguar F Type's were quite a sight when they were testing those. 2015 Audi Q3 Quattro S Line Plus 184 TDI Stronic
