2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 HT Santorini Black
I spoke with Land Rover customer relations last week to ask them to come back with a definitive answer on the final specification on the heritage 90 HT.

He came back to me yesterday having liaised with the Land Rover product line team with the following:

'The heritage 90HT will not come with alpine or rear windows and no factory fitted options can be added'.

That was it, no other details!

The people that are getting the SW 90 are really lucky and they look great.

I'm still a bit annoyed with LR for changing the spec on the HT

Me too Steve, although I am going to stick with it particularly after I saw this on pistonheads:

I hadn't noticed that!!

I think it's probably someone trying their luck, I'd be surprised if they sold it at that price as it's more than 7K over list.

What's your plan Steve if the SW doesn't happen, are you going to stick with the one Defender.....

Paul, you got to laugh really as I've been looking at everything from a second hand 997 to a new Morgan plus 4.

I would love the SW if it happens and will leave my deposit with them till delivery time.

I also think theres more to come from Land rover with the Defender as I think there shocked how well it's selling now there discontinuing it.

I have self diagnosed a Big Mid Life Crisis is currently happening Laughing

You could well be right about more defenders although I think they may be really limited and really expensive Whistle

I think looking at and buying lots of cars is perfectly normal behaviour, not a mid life crisis at all...... (thats what I've told my wife anyway).

My alternative defender heritage list which I compiled when I found out about the lack of alpine windows is:

Aeriel Atom
110 Double cab
Sierra cosworth (the original one)
New model Mustang V8 in RHD
Morgan 3 wheeler

Although I do keep coming back to the heritage HT it's good to keep your options open!

The new Mustang Rhd Looks like an awesome car Paul.

Not sure on the Morgan Three wheeler.

I think the HT will be a strong future proof car to keep Very Happy

I'm still keeping all crossed for a SW.

Agree about the heritage being a keeper so will go with it.

The V8 mustang is great value at around 33k though and they are going to put the steering wheel on the correct side as well Laughing

Apparently Ford have got over 1,000 pre-orders for it already.

The advert is for a heritage hardtop priced at £27800, so £7200 over list. The seller has used a picture of the SW but it is the hardtop which is for sale.
Always pays to read the ad.
