Now that the winter is nearly upon us I will be changing the tyres round on the landies. The old 90 I put on the BFG Trac edges and they are excellent in snow. The new 07 110 has the OE Generals on and as they do not make Trac edges any more I need something that will get us through the drifts etc. Anyone any recommendations , I am not looking for anything more agressive that MTs as its basically the wifes vehicle and she will not want to get drowned out with tyre noise in the cabin. Hope fully keep to the same size tyre and will see if I can pick up a set of OE alloys as well

Apparently you need tyres with lots of silica in the compound not necessarily lots of chunky grip |

Tyres recommended for use is snow will have the letters "M & S" on them, which means mud and snow. |

I have a set of AT tyres that I tun for everyday use but even with loads of tread they just looked at the snow and I sat there wheels slipping. Changed the tyres to a set of half worn Trac edges and it sailed up. I would like to go on the recommendation of what people have actually used and if they are any good.
