Got my renewal too from Adrian Flux so phoned the local A-plan office on Saturday for a quote. Was told that I'd get a call on Monday as it was not possible to get quote as insurance companies were closed. Got a call on Tuesday to advise that my quote had been referred to the Thatcham branch as my Landy is modded (an Autologic remap, sawtooths and a few accessories) and local office couldn't do it. Still waiting for a call back.
Not that impressed at the moment but I guess it depends what the quote comes back as. Shame really, as I have heard good things about them on this forum. Perhaps I should have called Chris too  2015 90 XS CSW TDCi - Beautiful

Still not impressed after having to phone Chris to chase my quote! It seems unless you have an old Defender that does only a few thousand miles a year and is not really modified, A-plan turned out to be more expensive than Adrian Flux

I'm going to be very interested to see how A-plan fair next month as the last 2 times I have come to renew having given A-Plan a go they have not been able to be competitive, once being told "I use it too much"
