Hi Pete.
Just noticed this thread and as I have a BAS remap (2010 110 Defender) and as I live in Perth which I suspect is a tad warmer than Christchurch, thought I'd ask if I should invest in a bigger intercooler as well?
Does the remap have to be adjusted after fitment?
Cheers.

Hi Alan.

The modern engine is torque based napping depending on many things including intake temps. Fitting a cooler does help the car breath and maintain lower onlet temps.

It's a good modification to help with overall power and drivability on any car even a standard car when used in a hot climate.

Fitting a cooler allowing lower temps and free flowing air will be picked up by the engine sensors and minor changes I fueling automatically done by the Ecu and so any gains to be had from fitting will automatically be added.

Pete.
