[Wanted] Td5 radio bezel
Anyone got one lying about that they want rid of for a few quid Wink ? Not fussed on colour as it'll be painted at some point anyway. on closer inspection, I may also need the bezel retaining wire.
This is the part:

Thanks

I have the radio bezel and the wire retainers currently fitted in our TD5 but will soon be removing to fit a MUD fascia plate. However will have to wait until I source a new radio. It is missing one of the two spring clips which hold it in however, you can get these easily though.

Your welcome to it for the cost of postage if you can wait a month or so?

Hi All, first post so might be cheeky, but if you still have the radio bezel and spring clips i would love to get them if you changed to the mud console? alternately does anyone know how i could get all the part numbers required or is there a stereo fitting kit available for the td5 dash? i currently have no radio.

I was looking for one a few months ago and couldn't get one at a reasonable price, so glued the broke one and then fixed it I place using black silicone. Not my first choice, but worked fine.

can't find one either, but i don't have one to glue together, i believe my poverty spec defender never had an original radio.

Ye Gods, I had to replace mine about 5 years ago it cost me just under a tenner, just did a quick search for;
BEZEL, BLACK, RADIO

Part number: FHF000070PMA

They're anything from £30 upwards! This is along the lines of the front fog light switch that went from around £8 to over £50 near enough overnight!

I think that it's a case of double checking with the seller, mine came with them but I don't use the wire thingys and my head unit stays in place quite tidily but allows me to pull the whole radio panel out to gain access to the wiring behind there.

Had to do mine a couple of years ago and all the parts were separate. From my notes at the time:

Radio securing
Wire-trim retention FBT000020 approx. £1.47 each

Switch panel is FWJ000110PMA was £16.49
Opening for radio is Bezel FHF000070PMA approx £4.86
Clips either side of bezel are ‘clip facia with radio defender’ EYC106690

Those prices were from 2012.

My 2003 TD5 radio bezel broke since last owner, I already order the new bezel and the retaining clips and wire( not sure if I going to need this parts), I'm now looking for instruction to remove the broke bezel and replace a new one, would anyone give me some tips for doing it, so i will not brake it during installation!
Thanks Wink

You will need to get to the back of the facia plate.

Remove the dash top pad by unscrewing the top vent covers, the airflow control levers on the drivers side, and the passenger side grab handle (you need to prise out the little Land Rover logo to access a screw on that end).

Then remove the two screws in the bottom of the fascia - loosen the 3 along the top. It'll then slide out.

Next steps are easier to just remove it - so disconnect all the switch connectors and you can seen how the clips and wires are arranged.

Hope that helps!
