Morgan Plus 8
Love my defender but don't yet know what I will do at 3 years old in 2016 if I don't like the defender replacement.

I may keep it but since the S2A will be staying

..... the Defender may have to go then.

Took SWMBO for an unannounced trip to see Morgans this morning while we had no kids, got Mr. Green from her with all of them but especially taken with Plus 8.

So........what do you all think? What should I look out for, pros and cons etc.? 1970 Series 2A 88"

Personally for me the whole Morgan ownership experience was not good, I will never own another one. Quality, fit, finish not up to my expectations and lots of issues. Unfortunately not dissimilar to Defender ownership, for the money they need to be better.

My Morgan was exactly the same as my Defender......different from what everyone else drives!

Lots of Morgan owners have Defenders, they both adhere to the "They start them we finish them" principal. Smile

As an aside don't confuse the current +8 with a trad Morgan, it is really an Aero with a trad look-a-like body.

If I had the money I'd order a Threewheeler and a Plus 8 Speedster without hesitation. The 911 is build to perfection, but the British toys on wheels always let my heart skip a couple of beats! Cool

Like you a morgan might be my car of choice if i dont like the new defender , although it wont be a new one and more likely a 2 seater 4/4 in a few years.
Something about them like the defender I think, something ill definitely have though.

I saw a lovely old couple (in their 70's) in a Morgan, only this Friday afternoon, pulling out of an old National Trust place (Little Moreton Hall). I thought how cool they were, old couple in a Mog, awesome.

Anybody not retired yet, driving a Mog, look like a bit of a goon.

Just my opinion Mr. Green

Oh dear, I was only in my 40's when I had mine, if only my best friends had told me I was a goon, I would have sold it earlier, shame I enjoyed it for 5 years without realising, will only look back with regret now

I'm 41 and keep looking at Morgans.
Stratstone have some good offers on and most dealers have them in stock.
You used to have to wait 2-3 yrs for one.
I do feel I should be more at home with a lotus Exige s but the heart strings are still saying Morgan.
