'Defender' Icon on my Sat Nav
Hello All

I had a nice surprise whilst digging into the settings of my Kenwood KVT 526 DVD Sat Nav

Under the sub menu 'change your vehicle' you can chose the Vehicle Icon that traces
its path across the displayed map.

So I passed over a Yellow Sports Car, the White Camper Van and a Red Santa's Sleigh (i'm not joking!)
and got to...yes a Silver Land Rover Shocked

Well a sort of Land Rover, a 'schematic icon' taking most of its styling from the Defender but also some other features have been 'grafted' on so a Censored cross between a Defender 90, pick up with body cab and a... Jeep!
and all in what appears to be various tones of grey and silver, so result (close enough for me) Thumbs Up

Now I can see something more appropriate trundle across my Sat Nav than the default red arrow.

Most of the time you are watching the dead ahead icon but as you turn this swivels around to follow your next direction giving you a glimpse of the familiar styling of a 'Defender', before the map also realigns itself to the dead ahead orientation.

Anyone else got a Kenwood Sat Nav out there...take a look, you may have this Icon too.

Exactly what I have had for a couple of years. Mr. Green
I have a stand alone sat nav though but still Garmin and the KVT 729 not 526.
The 526 is less complicated than mine with less wing harness to desk with and its more modern of course.
