Truck light query
Hi I have a set of truck lights fitted and when my sidelights are on the led position lights are on as well as the main led lights is this correct? I thought just the position lights came on on their own.

If this is incorrect what would be the issue, they were just plug and play and i used the mud stuff piggy back harness.

Thanks

if its the same as others it's a gold coloured thing about 2 inches long with fins on it riveted to a bracket and a wire out each end going to one plug , just unplug it

did it have dim dip fitted , did the headlights come on dim with the sidelights on (with ign on ) before

a few searches show it right under the wing half way between bottom of aerial and wing vent blank on o/s wing tucked up the top

Hi munch90 no luck there definitely isn't a resistor fitted in that location, I can trace the wiring to and from the lights and they don't go to a resistor.
I'm not sure if the lights came on with the sidelights with the old lights.

Not sure where that leaves me ?

Thanks for the help.

Cheers

only other thing to look for is a headlight control unit , think its a pink relay in fuse box or in dash somewhere

part no YWC10050 ?

resistor could be by brake master cyl looking at another forum
