Guidance with Bulkhead removal bar installation
Hi - Prior to leaving the UK I had picked up a LR original bulkhead removal bar pictured below from CSK. I am now trying to get it installed, and have been told I am missing the plates that go at the bottom of the bar. I was in touch with the local LR dealer (Listers)close to our residence in Worcestershire, but did not have any luck with them, After getting back to the US I tried Foley’s, and they have sent me the bolts M10 for the main bar and M8 for the other brackets, but they did not have the plates.

Can someone please advise if these plates can be sourced from the UK? If not, will someone be kind enough to show me the picture and shoot across the measurement of the plate. I will look into having them made here by a shop. Additionally, if there are instructions for the installation of the bar as a whole I would also appreciate getting those.

From what I can see the part# from Land Rover for the bulkhead bar is AH12-613A56-AA CKCPA

Thanks in advance for your help and guidance.

A question on this rather than starting a new thread.

How easy is it to remove the bulkhead?

What advantages/disadvantages does it have?

I have removed mine,myself.
Not too difficult,if you are OK with a grinder.
You need to strip out the seats & carpets, cover all remaining glass,to protect it from sparks.Take the rear side panels off,(2 people needed to lift them off.)
You dont need to remove the roof,I just jacked it up from the rear.
Then just cut out the bulkhead, and grind back, paint the raw edge,et voila. Thumbs Up

I've done this on mine too, pretty easy for anyone who's handy with a grinder, you'll have to be handy with a hoover for the mess at the end too! Click the link in my signature, there's a paragraph or two in there from when I did it. Tom

Hhhhhmmmm, might leave that mod and get the bulkhead re-painted instead.
