Restart rules after 6 months?
I was only meant to be away for 10 weeks .. but 10 has become 20.
T3 (Tractor #3), has been immobile while I worked in Oz (and drove faithful T2, the 2.8 Brazilian).
Battery was isolated via isolation switch so assume all chips have been off.
Otherwise I just walked away.
(Yes, it’s still there! Safe, way up a friend’s drive out of view ..)
I’ve never before owned a new car with computers. T2 I just plonked in a field, and 2 years later, started up ..

Are there any special rules / guides about a restart for a 2005 TD5 wrt the computer or the fluids, after 5 – 6 months gathering leaves?

Thanks Sold the much modified 110 2.8, in Oz
Brought the 90 home from Switzerland ...

If you were very concerned, you could unplug the crash-switch (on the bulkhead, under the bonnet, in the middle), then crank the engine over for a bit until the oil pressure light goes out. do that a couple of times, at least you'll have fresh oil on the bearings.
