Had a look at some Ashcroft H/D drive flanges at the show, seemed very nice quality and have heard good things about them.
However I cannot find anywhere online a definitive answer of whether the late versions will fit under Boost alloys without spacers. I suspect not but I am surprised that Ashcroft don't mention this on their website. Can anyone confirm either way? Cheers, I take it yours are the late style hubs etc with the thinner drive flanges? From looking at them I can see that its the central nut/wheel centre cap that could cause the issue.

I thort the later ones were thicker,tbh,dunno (my06,110),genuine LR Boosts tho, not copies. Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.

I have AShcroft HD flanges on my 2007 DC, with 30mm spacers and standard Boosts.
If it would help I would be happy to whip a wheel off and try fitting it without the spacer. |

Ok, I have just test fitted one of my rears without the 30mm Rakeway spacers and can confirm that there are no problems. If I get the chance tomorrow I'll post pictures of the hub with and without the spacer. The inside (and outside!) of my wheels are filthy and there were no witness marks anywhere inside the wheel when I took it off again which were suggestive of an improper fit.
I did upgrade the drive flange bolts to socket-head caps when I fitted the spacers to prevent damage to the wheels, but I don't think this affects the fit at all without spacers. Hope this helps. |

To follow up on this, fitted my refurbished boosts at the weekend, they fitted perfectly over the ashcroft flanges.
However it seems the turning circle is diabolical with the 255/85 tyres so now looking for some spacers. I have heard lots of good things about the bulldog ones which are also reasonably priced. However i see on their website they list not for hd flanges. I see above that the rakeway spacers seem okay but i think they are double the price. Does anyone have any info on this issue? Rakeway in the photos above. Very good reputation and quality and I didn't want to take any chances! Not good if a wheel comes off.

Hi,
Due to the worn on my rear flanges, i've purchased ashcroft h/d flanges few months ago. Then i replaced my wolf type original wheels with boost alloy ones and no problem occured due to these new flanges. Actually the huge nut made me afraid at the beginning but the overall height was even lower than the original setup. But at last i had to put 30mm spacers due to the offset value variation between wolf and boost wheels. Regards. |
