Scotland
Now a complete non-starter.

Starter solenoid contacts have been changed.

Cranks but does not fire.

Glow plug light does not illuminate.

Temperature gauge goes all the way to hot.

From research on here, these symptoms pointed me towards the Glow Plug relay and Main relay under drivers seat, together with Starter Motor relay, these have been pulled out and re-inserted and no difference.

Red plug has been pulled off ECU and oil is present.

Unfortunately I am in Australia and Landy is in Scotland, so diagnosis is difficult. My son is doing the hands on bit, but his time is limited and his interest usually only extends to women and Stella!

I was leaning towards a fault with one of the under seat relays, and or possibly an earth fault, there was no oil in the injector loom 4-weeks ago, at least not evident at the plug.

It looks like I need to change the injector loom, thats fine. Will this be what has been giving me problems, or do you think there is more to it?

I am no expert, but there is a lot of expertise on here, and experience. Thoughts please?

thanks

mike

Morning, have been reading this forum for a while, but always bowed to the superior knowledge of others on the site, however in this case this is a symptom of a faulty fuel relay.
