Are these pics of the CREE 20" light bar..?

I've just bought one, but not yet fitted. I wasn't sure if its better to fit on the A-bar, on the roll cage at roof level. Where did you fit yours..?

Light output looks great..Wink

cheers

the problem with mounting lights up high comes when it rains, so IMO (having driven things with roof mounted lights in the rain) I would put them below the windscreen.
Obviously many people disagree with me Very Happy

I thought roof lights weren't really used used on the roads? They certainly need switching to be legal.

Light output looks fantastic.

I work in Oz and fancy buying one here and taking it back with me to Scotland. Can anyone confirm that this light bar will fit inside a soft A bar?

It's a non AC soft A bar on 2004 TD5

Looks good. Where did you get it ?

Also, what steering guard to you have. I want one with two towing eyes and yours seems to have that ?

Cheers

I have a 20" LED lightbar fitted to my 110. It sits nicely inside the the genuine A bar perfectly. Looks wise it's a lot more pleasing on the eye than big blobby round lights 110 D250 SE HT

Ebay!
Took less than a week to arrive, zero import duty too!!
do a search for "20inch 126W CREE LED Spot Flood"

I got the guard from Rebel4x4.. Not sure if they are still trading, as their domain seems to be parked.. ... ,-------,

Just the sort of advice I was looking for....makes sense.

Any other views for/against roof mounting..?

I would have them switched so they don't come on with main beam if roof mounted...is that needed..?

Cheers

Is it easy to fit ? I had spots on before but took them off, still have the wiring and relay which I assume I could use ?

Do you have the combined one ?

What is the comparison of output between say a pair of 100w halogen spots and one of these?
