Nakatanenga Rear Wheel Carrier Bracket
This one has Brendan stumped. On the latest Carrier from Nakatanenga there is a bracket - but what is it for:

Looks about the right size for a work light or reverse light maybe?

Also an additional telescopic mast for work light will be available shortly which will fit with that bracket.

I was informed about the telescopic mount but thought that it would be coming off higher up close to the main wheel mount.

Stopping to think about it that would be awkward to get to with spare wheel on. Silly me.

I know that various additions are in the pipeline for the wheel carrier. Also I know that the little dwarfs in the back workroom are busy beavering away on a few other interesting projects.

Must admit I am quite excited about one or two of the ideas and am looking forward to getting my grubby little hands on some of them.

Brendan: you missunderstood the tiny little dwarf a bit.

The telescopic mast will fit the wheelcarrier without drilling but will not be bolted to that bracket. The bracket is for an additional reverse light. WANTED:

Sorry folks I am not 100% fluent in dwarfish yet! Laughing

As said there are lots of interesting things in progress in the dwarves den.

Now all we need is to crack the whip over the dwarves so they can speed up the progress on a few interesting projects.

Not sure about the vertical high lift jack mount.

The Dwarves can be tight lipped about some of their projects, they love to tease me by dropping some hints about their latest projects.

We have managed to get some products into the development pool.

I will try to open the Dwarves door and throw the high lift jack mount idea into the melting pot.

Have a few queries to ask them as well which will keep the Dwarves busy at their workbenches and anvils

Master of the Dwarfs says:

No HiLift carrier planned as it obstructs vehicle lights which is forbidden in Germany and other countries. As well i am not convinced to transport a Jack outside as it corrodes faster than lighning.... WANTED:

I think spare wheel carrier that incorporates a rear bumperett with a matching item for the other side would be a great product. You see a lot of questions asking about the compatibility of these items, and people like the matched look of rear bumperetts in pairs.

Andy.

Andy. That's the holy grail of spare wheel carriers. Many have looked for it and failed.

+1 for the matching bumperette
Hi all,

Just reading the thread, I'd definitely be keen on the wheel carrier if there were compatible little bumpers. Defender Puma 2.2 XS 90
