I have mine sat in the top of the centre dash in that little tray area but I don't like it there. Any ideas on a better location? I don't like it in front of the instrument binnacle either!

Down near the gear selectors area? Might be a bit big though.

It's going to be dangerous anywhere you can't see it easily whilst driving. Mine's velcroed on the top of the steering column against the instruments. It's actually not that distracting and only really blocks the headlamp dim/dip light. Also, there's a nice little hole already in the column fascia for the wire to come out of so it's nice and tidy Thumbs Up Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Mine is neatly mounted on the rear view mirror. Perfect location out of the way but at eye level for easy reference. Get the Blendmount Kit, prise the mirror glass out of the housing get a small nut and bolt and secure the Blendmount bracket to the housing. Refit the glass and remount the rear view mirror. Job jobbed but it's up to you. Been secured up there for nearly four years now.

Pictures got binned ages ago.

But here's a little You Tube clip that will undoubtedly give you the right idea. Thumbs Up

OBD is locked and left at home. As long as I don't travel further than the 200m lead length I'm fine. Thud

Here is a big hole with a Land Rover in it.

Mine is held with velcro just below and to the right of the steering column on the little shelf that runs across, I find it fine there for a quick glance when I want to see whats going on DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy
