A prize is on offer

Right guys i have a challenge and its driving me round the bend (twice)

I have a genuine winch bumper with a new warn 9.5ti winch.

Everything is fine except I cant order from LR the number plate mount - the one i want is the one that bolts on the fairlead bolts and has a numberplate mounting that then sits infront of the winch above the bumper line.

I have the other type that you bolt to the bumper (below the headlight) but i dont like this one.

So any ideas - microcat shows it clearly on the RRS winch kit and the fitting kits show it - but only the part number for the one i have.

please - its doing my head in.

On the RRS, the number plate is just stuck onto the top of the winch tray just above the failead (Plasma Hawse)

The Defender is via 2 quick release turn buckles,

Thats the jobbie (the bottom one) although i can confirm the rrs should have the same.

If you want a kit that mounts the number plate on the fairlead, give Scorpion Racing a ring if you have no other luck. Got mine from there for my last LR and it is a good bit of kit. Well made and comes with all the fitting bits, alun keys and wing nuts, which are really useful as you remove the setup easily for offroad trips without fear of breaking it, or finding your numberplate on a website on a picture of your vehicle without your permission!!!

Thats promising - can i ask how much? im sometimes shocked at scorpions prices compared to others

Well i found a picture of it on parts - but its part of a bolt pack for the D3 with some body replacement. I did ask for a price but got no where...ill actually add it to my list to chase tomorrow.
