New ABS kit Fix
Hi Guys. I do not have ABS in my puma 2009 CSW. Is it possible to fix a new one from the scratch together with traction control? If so how much would it cost?.
Cheers. Appreciate!

Kind regards,
Diluk

it would probably be easier to change your vehicle. you have the AB controller, the ecu to re-map, the physical wheel sensors etc ... if it's purely for traction, fit a LSD or locker

The modulator alone would be likely to cost over £1,000 from new. In my opinion consider part exchanging your truck for a higher specification one. Dependant on availability in your neck of the woods and demand for Defenders it may not cost you much more than fitting a complete system and it'll save you a lot of work and potential hassle to boot.

Many thanks for bpman and k9f for the prompt replies. My main purpose would be to install the ABS as I have had number of long drag braking scenarios. So just for some extra safety I thought of fixing one. But as both you suggested the better option would be to change the whole truck. Cheers!

Kind regards,
Diluk
