horn plus 'flasher'
can you guys think of any reason why i can't use either horn or lights flasher (pull toward you) ? Could the fuse be gone? IF so where may it be? I can use dipped and main beam lights fine (main beam pushed away from driver) I have spots all 100% wired and fused correctly however i do have this problem. they worked when i first had it 2 months ago but since failed. 90 puma 57 plate

Sounds like a faulty switch in the steering column to me. Suspicious that there's clearly nothing wrong with the lights wiring - just the stalk. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS

The flashers and the horn run from the same fuse so that's worth a look. The fuse you want is in the secondary fuse box under your seat, and is labelled F3 here:

right i'll have a check of the fuse first off then maybe move onto the stalk. Would this fail an MOT? also i think that a new indicator stalk is plug and play? other than removing and refitting

If you can't beep yor horn it will be a fail. As you have put....best check the fuse and then the stalk, and it will be a simple plug off and on Very Happy
