Afternoon all.
I am a bit late in joining this site as i purchased "08" 90xs nearly new about nine months ago now.
In general this has to be the most fun car i have owned, just cant help get that "kid at Christmas" feeling everytime you go for a drive.

Bummer you've just got £364m to replace all the roads and pavements on the island! Your Defender will no longer be tested to the max on your roads! If you ever get off the Island and fancy using 3,4,5 and 6th gears and are travelling westward I live in Bournemouth! Wait till the Northern Monkies find out our numbers are increasing!

Next time i route back to the IOW via Lymington i'll give you a shout. I did hear a rumour about EU funding for the roads over here but yet to see much improvement. Either local council invested in Iceland Whistle or a massive Land Rover Experience centre! 1st and 2nd gear is about right as the pot holes are huge. Crack out the winch. Laughing

hello folks

ive joined as i'm looking to purchase a TD5 110 county or late model 300tdi dont know which is best or not.
now i hear that big brother wants to put up the VEL to £400 a year for vehicles made after march 2001.

May have about £10 -14 to spend depends on management approval!! a.k.a the wife!

Any advice welcome. Question Question




previously owned a 200tdi 90 (stolen), disco v8 lpg (sold) and 88" series 1 (sold)

For £10-14 I would say you could get one of these:
