This is a photo of a wing that had the 'wide' arches (they are not wide, they just look so) removed. The VHB 3M tape has been 'broken' and once residue removed the wing should buff up to original paint.

Has anyone fitted the Urban Widetrack arches?

Also, with the ‘standard’ wide arches, are people using wheel spacers or just keeping the original wheel set-up?

Cheers

Well, as the arches aren't actually any wider l can't see the need for wheel spacers.

l was looking at fitting some to my 90 Commercial, the plastics on this model aren't painted so l could probably fit the extended wheel arches as they come from Land Rover (no painting needed)

Are they fairly easy to fit?

They are supplied by LR unpainted (even when spec’d from factory with extended black pack also spec’d) so my car arrived then dealer gets the arches, outsources the painting to a local body shop and finally fits them. Oh and they charged extra to have them painted gloss black🤔🤔🤔

So I would personally get them from one of the other suppliers who sell them already painted and avoid the extra expense having them done at LR[/quote]

LR rang me the day before collection to tell me this and that they wouldn't look right fitted considering the rest of my black pack - too late for them to get it done so left them in the boot for me to get done later - I was stuck as I was without a car so no option but to collect the next day but now I am working to get them to complete the painting and the fitting as promised. The black explorer pack should come with these painted as standard, or at least as an option, very frustrating. 24MY 110 p400e HSE in Tasman Blue

The latest configurator has gloss black extended arches as an option without the faff of getting them painted after they’ve been supplied.

That's great info, maybe they can just order a set in at the same time as they replace my silver box for the gloss black one. 24MY 110 p400e HSE in Tasman Blue

we have already established these are NOT 'extended arches' ...... unless you mean the arches extent further up the wing. But definitely NOT beyond the existing wheel arch. Thumbs Up
